Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
Military personnel, their families, and retirees who are under the Tricare benefits program can no longer avail of the services of Walgreens because as January 1, 2012, the contract between Walgreens and Express Scripts is no longer effective. Even after Walgreens’ year-long effort to have their contract with Express Scripts renewed, the pharmacy benefit manager has decided to exclude Walgreens in its pharmacy provider network. A petition has been signed by military personnel, retirees, their families and supporters to demand access to Walgreens for all their pharmacy services needs. For years, Walgreens has been providing them with quality and cost effective pharmacy services and they do not want to experience inconvenience brought about by the termination of contract between Walgreens and Express Scripts. Since providing quality medications and cost effective pharmacy services has always been their goal, Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens has been launched. For a minimal membership fee, a member and his family can avail of special discounts to over 8,000 brand name and all generic medications. Purchase of nebulizer or diabetic supplies also comes with significant savings. Know more about these and a whole lot of other benefits when you follow Walgreens on Twitter and visit Walgreens on Facebook.
