St. Louis Zoo

Last week I wanted to get out of the house and do something fun with my son. We got up early, got dressed, set my home security alarm from www.AllHomeSecurity.com, and off we went to the St. Louis Zoo.
We couldn't have had a better time! The zoo is free. It does cost to park but if you don't mind walking a little way you can also park for free along the side streets (which we did). There were so many attractions we did not know where to start. We spent all day there and did not even get to see everything. I had heard that the St. Louis Zoo is one of the best in the country and now I believe it!
We both loved the penguin, monkey, and reptile houses the best. There are so many paths and areas to go that it could be easy to get lost but were several signs telling me where I was. My son also loved the children's area. he loved petting the different animals and playing on the playground. There are also numerous places to eat and the price is very reasonable. We also decided to take the train around the park. We both enjoyed this very much and it gave us a break from walking.
My son told me this morning he can not wait to go back and see all the animals again. I told him that we will go again in a few weeks.
