3 Healthy Summer Pops You Have To Try

Summer is still in full swing and the heat is not backing down. Staying cool is the everyday goal, but it can get boring sitting in your air conditioned house (if you’re lucky) day after day and eating the same store-bought popsicles.

Make life a little more interesting with these fun popsicles that any dentist would approve of. Healthy, fun, and delicious? Why not!

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Pops

Ingredients:4 cups frozen strawberries
3 Tablespoons agave nectar or honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt (non-fat or full fat)
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Add it all together in a food processor or blender, mix for a couple minutes, and freeze in popsicle mold for an hour. Or you can enjoy it right away as a yummy strawberry frozen yogurt by the spoon! Try with other fruits like peaches, raspberries, blueberries, or mango for more variety.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Pops

Ingredients:
1 c. Greek Yogurt
¼ c. chocolate chips (semi sweet or milk chocolate)
¼ c. peanut butter chips
¼ c. sugar (optional)

Melt the chips separately and mix with half of the greek yogurt (and sugar if you choose). Pour each mixture into ziploc bags and alternate pouring them into the popsicle mold. Freeze and enjoy!

These are so delicious that everyone in your family will enjoy them, and they might even become a go-to summer favorite.

Rainbow Fruit and Veggie Pops

Ingredients:
– Ice Pop Pouches
– Cold pressed juices
– Frozen fruit
– Baby Spinach

These are a fun and healthy alternative to Otter Pops. Pick up some ice pop pouches from a store like Walmart. Blend up each fruit with their corresponding juice and some spinach to create different flavors of popsicles. Pour them into the pouches and let freeze. Make plenty because these will become a staple in your home this summer if you want to avoid buying sugar-filled Otter Pops.
